Dance, perform, and celebrate at Arambol Beach in Goa, India!

Each year, we invite international dancers to a unique program that incorporates in-depth training and practice of contact improvisation and other somatic disciplines (all levels welcome!).

In close collaboration with the Indian contact dance community, the arambolian musicians and artists we create an unique festival with in- depth somatic education, strong sense of community and colorful artistic exchange.

Especially together with the InContact Collective, we are developing a program that focuses on hidden racism and consent in contact improvisation community.

There will be series of events within the festival dedicated to these themes. In particular, we are transforming our Scholarship Program into the Fellowship Program in order to establish a more dedicated, detailed, and long-term relationship with a wider community of dancers in India.

The Goa Contact Festival explores dance and body awareness, from a deep individual journey into connection and celebration with others. Together, we build a collective heart space in beautiful, natural surroundings.

Goa Contact is a season-long project, with lots of time and space for collaborations, learning, teaching, performing, experimenting and connecting in the paradise of Arambol Beach at our own space Forgotten Land. From mid-December to the end of February we present a program of regular classes, jams, intensives, and festivals for beginners and advanced dancers with a team of experienced international teachers.

For those who want to dive deeper with our Festival lead teachers we created an Intensive Trainings program addtionally to the Festival  CI Intensive Training with Vega Luukkonen and Ma Prem Tara, Contact Improv Post Workshop with Sergio Palomares. If you book more than one intensive or festival, we offer a 10% discount on the second event.
